The fourth
edition of the book was renamed Phoenix IV: The History of the Videogame
Industry.
The dimensions of the book were changed to a smaller 7x10. The book was practically rewritten and new chapters were added to include the years 2001-2015. The book also includes a greater reflection of international history with major cover of the Japanese and European gaming highlights. Phoenix IV also includes two forewords. The first by Ted Dabney, the co-founder of Atari, and the second by Chris Kohler.
